Obaid brings in nearly two decades of Banking & Financial services experience working with HNW Private clients, Family offices & Financial Institutions across Middle East & Asia.
Prior to establishing Oxford Bridge Capital Ltd (OBCL) , Obaid was Director – Private Banking with coverage across Middle East region with Bank J Safra Sarasin (DIFC , Dubai) , he was also associated with very respected and established global & Regional Banking institutions in GCC Like – Citibank NA (UAE & Bahrain) , Dubai Islamic Bank (Dubai ,UAE) , Qatar Islamic Bank (Qatar) & Boubyan Bank (Kuwait), where he developed strong client relationships , attained deep experience in wealth and asset management business (Islamic & conventional) & tremendous understanding on regional markets.
He has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Computer Sc from Lucknow University (India) and received his MBA from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi (India).

A seasoned banker with 20 years of experience in multinational banks like UBS AG, Citibank, HSBC and American Express. Rameez brings along with him extensive private banking and wealth management learning and business acumen.
With a proven track record of successful stints in his previous assignments, of which over a decade has been in the GCC, Rameez possesses a keen understanding of the global financial services environment. As a trusted advisor fulfilling client needs and with his strong relationship management skills that enables him to drive and develop business in Middle East.
Rameez is a post graduate Master’s in Management Studies specialized in Finance from Mumbai University and a Commerce graduate from Sydenham College – Mumbai University. He is also Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) – Swiss Association of Quality (SAQ) certified.
